Step 1: Prepare the Tools
Before starting the installation, prepare the following tools:
- Drill
- Screwdriver
- Measuring tape
- Marker or pencil
- Screws and brackets
- Helloryse curtain rail
- Smart curtain motor
💡 Make sure the installation area is close to a power source if the motor uses direct power.
Step 2: Measure the Window Size
- Measure the width of the window or the curtain installation area.
- Mark the positions where the rail brackets will be installed on the ceiling or wall.
- The distance between brackets should usually be 50–80 cm to ensure stability.
✔ Accurate measurement helps the curtain operate smoothly and evenly.
Step 3: Install the Brackets
- Drill holes at the marked positions.
- Secure the brackets with screws.
- Check that the brackets are firmly installed before attaching the curtain rail.
📌 The brackets must be aligned properly to ensure the curtain runs smoothly.
Step 4: Attach the Curtain Rail
- Place the Helloryse curtain rail onto the installed brackets.
- Lock the rail into the brackets according to the product’s locking mechanism.
- Make sure the rail is securely fixed.
Step 5: Install the Smart Curtain Motor
- Attach the motor to the end of the curtain rail.
- Secure the motor according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Connect the motor to the power supply.
💡 Some versions use a rechargeable battery, so you only need to attach the motor to the rail.
Step 6: Hang the Curtain
- Attach the curtain hooks to the gliders on the rail.
- Hang the curtain onto each hook.
- Check whether the curtain slides smoothly along the rail.
Step 7: Connect the Smart App
- Download the control app (Tuya / Smart Life or Helloryse’s official app).
- Turn on the motor.
- Connect the device to WiFi or Bluetooth.
- Set up the control features:
- Open / Close the curtain
- Schedule automatic opening and closing
- Voice control
- Connect with Google Home or Alexa
Operation Check
After installation:
✔ Press the Open / Close button on the remote or app
✔ Ensure the curtain runs smoothly
✔ Make sure the rail is not blocked or stuck
Usage Tips
- Do not pull the curtain manually while the motor is operating
- Clean the rail regularly
- Recharge the motor battery every 3–6 months (for battery-powered versions)
